Add Up

Add Up was set up to bring families together, guide parents in the right direction to find the practical help they need for their children, and promote both public and professional awareness of ADHD. We feel we have achieved many of our aims and will continue to work towards a better understanding of this condition amongst professionals. We are a local support and action group, for Havering, Barking & Dagenham, and surrounding areas.

Cinema Card

This is a national card that can be used to verify that the holder is entitled to one free ticket for a person accompanying them to the cinema. The card is valid for one year from the date of issue. Printed application forms are available from local cinemas or follow the link for an application form. You will need to provide proof that you meet their criteria.

Family Fund

Family Fund believes that families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people should have the same choices, quality of life, opportunities and aspirations as wider families. Family Fund are the UK’s largest grant-making charity for families raising a disabled or seriously ill child, on a low income.

Havering IASS

Offering impartial Information, Advice, and Support to parents, carers, young people, and children with SEN or disabilities about education, health, and social care. We can offer information and advice face to face, over the telephone, and by email as well as representation and support at school and multi-agency meetings.

RAGS

RAGS provides help and support for families who have a child/children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. We believe that every person with autism has the potential to fulfill this, and we enable this by supporting the entire family – parents, siblings, and individuals with autism. RAGS was founded in 2003 by a group of Havering parents who have children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We became a registered Charity in 2009. We are proud to be Havering’s support group for parents of children with Autism, run by parents of children with Autism.

Wipe Those Tears Away

We are a charity which aims to grant a wish and bring a sparkle into the lives of terminally or seriously ill children in Essex. We have no overheads or administration costs, so every penny that is raised goes towards helping very special children.

Fledglings

We are a non-profit shop that helps children and adults with additional needs by supplying products and equipment that help with everyday challenges. We provide an easy and trusted environment to find the right solutions and allow people to connect and share their experiences.
